A closed-loop stepper motor is a type of motor that incorporates feedback control into the stepper motor system. It monitors the motor position in real time through the built-in encoder or sensor, and transmits the feedback signal to the controller, which can achieve more accurate position control and avoid out-of-step phenomenon.

The position of the motor is feedback by the optical encoder and compared with the drive command. The current is adjusted according to the position error to prevent losing step.
